n1The Learning Organization: Model of Organizational Structure or the Characteristic of the Organization n1Organizacija koja uči: model organizacione strukture ili osobina organizacije
n2Mirjana Petković, Faculty of Economics, Belgrade n2Mirjana Petković, Ekonomski fakultet, Beograd
n3The paper draws on the dilemma of whether a learning organization is a new model of organizational design, or is just a composite of certain characteristics which need to be developed in the existing and, within literature and practice, known models of organizational structure. n3U radu se polazi od dileme da li je organizacija koja uči novi pojavni oblik, odnosno model organizacionog dizajna, ili je u pitanju samo skup novih karakteristika koje treba razviti u nekom od postojećih, u literaturi i praksi poznatih, oblika ili modela organizacione strukture.
n4The author approaches this dilemma by trying to explain the concept of organizational learning, on which the phenomenon of learning organization is based, the learning types and processes, and consequently suggesting in that way a logical conclusion. n4Razrešavanje ove dileme autor nastoji da postigne tako sto je prvo objašnjen pojam organizacionog učenja, na kojem se zasniva fenomen organizacije koja uči, vrste i proces učenja, da bi se logički nametnuo određeni zaključak kojim se daje odgovor na postavljenu dilemu.
n5The starting point of the paper is that the construct "learning organization" refers to the description of the characteristics of the model, and not on the model per se. n5Polazni stav rada jeste da je sintagma "organizacija koja uči" zapravo opis karakteristika određenog modela strukture, a ne model kao takav.
n6Introduction n6Uvod u temu
n7The subject "the learning organization" is ever more present in the national literature in the field of organization and management. n7Tema "organizacija koja uči" je sve prisutnija u domaćoj literaturi iz oblasti organizacije i menadžmenta.
n8As knowledge has become a superior resource that will, according to some researchers, soon take its place in the companies' balance sheets, the concept of organizational learning and the design of the learning organization based upon it have become a real challenge for doctorands, postgraduates doing their masters degree and those with the masters degree achieved, but for conslutants and managers as well. n8Budući da je znanje postalo superioran resurs koji će se, kako neki istraživači tvrde, u dogledno vreme naći u kompanijskim bilansima stanja, koncept organizacionog učenja i na njemu baziran dizajn organizacije koja uči postali su pravi izazov za doktorante, magistrante i mastere, ali i za konsultante i menadžere.
n9Such an interest in this topic is undoubtedly a good sign, since it proves that there is awareness of the importance of learning, however, evident is a certain confusion in the interpretation and understanding of this issue. n9Iako je za svaku pohvalu veliko interesovanje za ovu temu, jer ona i simbolički nosi poruku da postoji svest o značaju učenja, primećuje se i određena konfuzija u tumačenju i razumevanju ove teme.
