n3Application of Teaching Methods and Techniques at Serbian Universities: Progress Over Time n3Primena nastavnih metoda i tehnika na univerzitetima u Srbiji: napredak tokom vremena
n4The aim of this paper is to draw attention to the results of a research conducted at four biggest universities in Serbia, which refer to the application of teaching methods and techniques used at universities in Serbia. n4Cilj ovog rada jeste da ukaže na rezultate istraživanja sprovedenog na cetiri najveca državna univerziteta u Srbiji, a koji se odnose na primenu metoda i tehnika koje se koriste na univerzitetima u Srbiji.
n5The starting point for this paper is the research that came about as a consequence of a regional research project conducted by scholars of the American Council for Higher Education in 2009; it was the first time that the project participants had conducted a survey among university lecturers of the southeastern Balkans, including Serbia. n5Polaznu osnovu za pisanje ovog rada cini istraživanje koje je nastalo kao posledica regionalnog istraživackog projekta realizova-nog 2009. godine od strane stpendista Americkog saveta za visoko obrazovanje, kada je prvi put sprovedena anketa od strane ucesnika projekta medu predavacima univerziteta zemalja jugo-istocnog Balkana, medu kojima je bila i Srbija.
n6It was noted on this occasion that the share of information technology, especially distance learning, in teaching is extremely low. n6Tada je uoceno da je rezultat ucešca informacionih tehnologija, narocito ucenja na daljinu, u prenošenju znanja studentimaekstremno nizak.
n7We used those results as a starting point for a new research (two years later), this time on a sample of 153 subjects. n7Dobijene rezultate iskoristili smo kao polaznu tacku za novo istraživanje (dve godine kasnije), ovog puta sprovedeno na uzorku od 153 ispitanika.
n8We have concluded that, even though the situation in Serbia has slightly improved, it is still far from meeting European standards. n8Zakljucili smo da, iako je situacija u Srbiji neznatno poboljšana, još uvek je daleko od toga da ispuni evropske standarde.
