n4In November 2001, the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) commissioned the research in initial discussions with UNESCO and UNICEF. n4U novembru 2001, Ministarstvo prosvete i sporta (MPS) započelo je istraživanje inicijalnim razgovorima sa Uneskom i Unicefom.
n5The Open Society Institute (OSI) was invited to participate because of its work in education, governance, human rights and other areas in the Republic of Serbia. n5Institut za otvoreno društvo bio je pozvan da učestvuje zbog svog rada na poljima obrazovanja, upravljanja, ljudskih prava i u drugim oblastima u Republici Srbiji.
n6UNICEF had shown a prior keen interest in a study related to Civic Education (CE) in the Republic of Serbia. n6Unicef je i ranije pokazao svoju veliku zainteresovanost za studiju koja je povezana sa Građanskim vaspitanjem (GV) u Republici Srbiji.
n7The Open Society Institute participated through two of its network partners, the Fund for Open Society-Serbia (FOS) and the Education Support Programme (ESP), which is affiliated to the Open Society Institute office in Budapest. n7Institut za otvoreno društvo učestvovao je preko dva svoja partnera iz mreže, Fonda za otvoreno društvo- Jugoslavija (Fond) i Programa za podršku obrazovanju (PPO), koji je ogranak Instituta za otvoreno društvo u Budimpešti.
n8A consultant was nominated from each of the three international organisations to be on the research team. n8Iz svake od te tri međunarodne organizacije imenovan je konsultant za istraživački tim.
n9The Belgrade-based research agency, Strategic Marketing and Management Research Institute (SMMRI) was contracted to carry out the bulk of research after the first visit of the international team to Belgrade in January 2002. n9Nakon prve posete međunarodnog tima Beogradu, januara 2002, istraživačka agencija iz Beograda - Strategic Marketing and Media Research Institute (SMMRI) angažovana je da obavi veliki deo istraživanja.
