n2This Law regulates election and termination of mandate of the deputies in the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro (hereinafter referred to as: the deputies). n2Ovim zakonom uređuje se izbor i prestanak mandata poslanika Skupštine Srbije i Crne Gore (u daljem tekstu: poslanici).

n4The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia delegates 91 deputies in the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, in accordance with the Constitutional Charter of the state community of Serbia and Montenegro (hereinafter referred to as: the Constitutional Charter). n4Narodna skupština Republike Srbije bira 91 poslanika u Skupštinu Srbije i Crne Gore, u skladu sa Ustavnom poveljom državne zajednice Srbija i Crna Gora (u daljem tekstu: Ustavna povelja).
n5The deputies are elected for a term of two years, in accordance with the Constitutional Charter. n5Poslanici se biraju na dve godine, u skladu sa Ustavnom poveljom.

n7Distribution of mandates in the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro shall encompass political parties and political coalitions as well as other organisations represented in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. n7U raspodeli mandata u Skupštini Srbije i Crne Gore učestvuju političke stranke i političke koalicije, i druge organizacije koje su zastupljene u Narodnoj skupštini Republike Srbije.
n8A candidate for the deputy may be the national deputy, or, in the first elections for deputies in the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, the federal deputy in the Chamber of Citizens or the Chamber of Republics of the Federal Parliament. n8Kandidat za poslanika može biti narodni poslanik, a na prvim izborima za poslanike Skupštine Srbije i Crne Gore i savezni poslanik Veća građana, odnosno Veća republika Savezne Skupštine.
