Abstract
This exploratory research will provide an overview of strategic management in the ‘’Date industry’’ in the United Arab Emirates. This research provides an overview of strategic management. A practical understanding of the strategic-management process is introduced. In addition, the research initiates discussion of the mission and goals of the strategic management in the Date industry. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, the SWOT analysis will be undertaken and strategies will be proposed that should keep the management going with success. In this paper the basic activities and terms in strategic management are defined. The benefits of strategic management to the company are presented. Important relationships between business and strategic management are discussed. The research initiates the discussion on the issues such as: global considerations, and the strategic implications of the natural environment. The research findings show that the new role of the management in implementing effective strategy(s), is through the integration and provison the guidelines for other employees in the company. These roles must become the thought leaders in their discipline and actively pursued across all the departments and among employees. There is a need for training programs for the employees in order that the customer services, satisfaction and communication with customers should be improved and achieved effectively and efficiently.
Apstrakt
Ovaj istraživački rad predstavlja pregled strateškog menad'menta u Industriji urmi (Date Industry) u Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima. Istraživanje predstavlja prikaz strateškog menad'menta. Uvodi se kategorija shvatanja procesa strateškog upravljanja u praksi. Pored toga, ovo istraživanje pokreće raspravu o misiji i ciljevima strateškog upravljanja u Industriji urmi. Snage, slabosti, prilike i pretnje (strengths, waeknesses, opportunities, and threats) - sprovešćemo SWOT analizu i predložiti strategije koje će pomoći menadžmentu da posluje s uspehom. U ovom radu definišemo osnovne strategije i termine u oblasti strateškog upravljanja. Predstavljamo koristi koje kompanija može da ima od strateškog upravljanja. Takođe raspravljamo o značajnim odnosima između fir-mi/poslovanja i strateškog menad'menta. Ovo istraživanje pokreće raspravu o pitanjima kao što su globalna razmišljanja i strategijske implikacije prirodnog okruženja. Zaključci ovog istraživanja pokazuju da je nova uloga menadžmenta u uspostavljanju efektivne strategije u inte-grisanju i usmeravanju zaposlenih u kompaniji. Ove uloge moraju postati vodeće ideje, mišljenja u svojoj disciplini i moraju se aktivno sprovoditi u svim sektorima i među svim zaposlenima. Postoji i potreba za programima obuke za zaposlene koja bi imala za cilj da unapredi usluge potrošačima, zadovoljstvo i komunikaciju sa potrošačima i da to postigne na efektivan i efikasan način.
