Abstract
According to the Digital Humanities Manifesto 2.0,the first wave of digital humanities in the late nineties and early 21st century was primarily focused on large digitization projects and the establishment of technological infrastructure, which resulted in expecting the cooperation, interactivity, interdisciplinarity, multifunctionality, multimediality, dynamism, speed, accessibility and searchability from libraries as cultural and educational institutions. They are, along with museums, archives, theaters, cinemas, nowadays, as well as throughout the history, active agents of intercultural and interethnic communication. Primarily due to their general ethical and aesthetic values, characteristics of particular cultures that they are profiling, and then due to the standardized professional peculiarities that allow permeation of library science with other disciplines, as well as horizontal connectivity within the profession in the interest of the nation and its culture. Through forming a digital collection of orhumanities, we are returning debt that we have towards its creators, previous generations, and commit the following generations to continue to preserve our cultural, spiritual and national identity. | Apstrakt
Prema Manifestu digitalne humanistike (Digital Humanities Manifesto 2.0), prvi talas digitalnih humanističkih nauka krajem devedesetih godina prošlog veka i početkom 21. veka bio je prevashodno usredsređen na velike projekte digitalizacije i uspostavljanje tehnološke infrastrukture, zbog čega se od biblioteka kao institucija kulture i obrazovanja očekivala saradnja, interaktivnost, interdisciplinarnost, multifunkcionalnost, multimedijalnost, dinamičnost, brzina, dostupnost, pretraživost. One su, uz muzeje, arhive, pozorišta, bioskope, danas, kao i kroz istoriju, aktivni nosioci interkulturne i međunacionalne komunikacije. Pre svega, po opštim etičkim i estetskim vrednostima, po osobenostima zasebnih kultura koje profilišu, a potom po standardizovanim strukovnim posebnostima koje omogućavaju prožimanje bibliotekarstva sa drugim disciplinama, kao i horizontalno povezivanje u okviru struke u interesu naroda i njemu pripadajuće kulture. Formirajući digitalnu zbirku naše humanistike, na opštem, lokalnom i institucionalnom nivou, vraćamo dug njenim tvorcima, prethodnim generacijama, i zadužujemo sledeće koje valja da nastave da čuvaju naš kulturološki, duhovni i nacionalni identitet. |
